Client Bio: The Money Matters team of coaches have a combined financial planning expertise of more than 60 years. It was founded with the express desire for providing balanced financial solutions, one person at a time.

The quest for this mission was started almost 32 years ago by our founder and CEO and still remains the driving force of our entire team. We feel it our life’s duty to cut through all of the obstacles and jargons that have left people in the dark when it comes to the financial arena. We lay out clear concise plans for the accomplishment of YOUR financial goals in layman’s terms and in executable format.

Project Vision: To design and implement a custom financial planning software application that supports Money Matters’ unique approach to financial planning for individuals. The software will integrate with Redtail financial CRM, deliver a proprietary risk assessment, and enable Money Matters planners to rate holdings and assets in order to align customer investment portfolios to risk tolerance. Finally, the application will calculate retirement and insurance cash flows over time and present all information and recommendations in a summary report for customers.

Our Approach:  Given the complex nature of financial planning, our engagement began with intensive requirements gathering, which included our education in financial planning and Money Matters’ unique approach.

Security was of paramount concern, so our approach was to design and build an application that could be hosted in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and would leverage file storage and other AWS services.

After Money Matters was satisfied that we understood their business and processes, we scheduled the roadmap and showcase schedule for our agile process. We partnered with Money Matters throughout the development and testing cycles, and we continue to work on subsequent versions of the platform.
