The 14th Annual Exceptional Foundation Chili Cook-off was held this past weekend at Brookwood Village. This is a widely attended event with a diverse crowd of over 10,000 people and 140 teams competing for the title of Birmingham’s Best Chili. Families came out in groves to enjoy great chili, live music, local brews and entertainment for the kids all to raise money for a great cause, the Exceptional Foundation. The Exceptional Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides social and recreational activities to mentally challenged individuals in the Greater Birmingham area. The Chili Cook-off is the main fundraising event for the organization and KEYSYS was excited to part of such a successful event again this year.
Although we didn’t bring home bragging rights, we couldn’t think of a better way to spend our weekend: cooking, eating chili and hanging with the KEYSYS team all while supporting a great cause. Thank you to the Exceptional Foundation and we can’t wait to be back next year!
