Since 2007, KEYSYS has been building custom software to solve business problems. We have a strong belief that the best software is built with coworkers working under the same roof.
Working together as a company has helped us ensure that each project is built by people talking face to face every day. But just like the rest of the world, we’ve had to make changes this week.
Starting Monday, March 16, 2020, the team at KEYSYS moved to full-time remote work. This transition was made in compliance with the worldwide movement for ‘social distancing’ in an effort to slow down the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Doing their part, each of our coworkers has set up shop in their own homes to ensure that our clients can still get the work they deserve.
Thankfully the tools and technologies we have been using to communicate and collaborate on a daily basis have made this transition easier than any of us expected.
Our company-wide morning nugget scrum has been replaced by a Zoom conference. Each individual team’s communications have become Slack calls and channels. We track work and projects in JIRA and report hours through Harvest. Each of these platforms provides a vital role in keeping KEYSYS operating at full steam.
