KEYSYS has been fortunate to be fully operational as our team continues to work remotely for our clients.
Because the negative impact from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been so minimal to KEYSYS, our CEO, Jim Bob McAllister has been looking for ways to support our local businesses who are under pressure and dealing with high levels of uncertainty during these times.
“Each week I participate in a group called Truth at Work. Truth at Work is a meeting of business leaders who seek to share wisdom with one another and find ways to bring their faith to work with them everyday.During one meeting Diane Olexa from Olexa’s Cafe shared that she and her team had been answering order cancellation calls all week. Olexa’s is known for catering and cakes for weddings, birthdays, and special events. At the time it was uncertain if they were going to completely shut down business or be allowed to remain open.After our meeting I called Diane and asked if we could purchase a full family meal for everyone at KEYSYS. We wanted to make sure this would be a blessing and not a burden on her and her team.We discussed the logistics and determined that pickup was going to be the safest way to get the meals distributed to our whole team. Diane was extremely helpful in putting the meals together and made it effortless for us.Our team benefited from having a meal or two provided during the transition to working from home full time and Olexa’s got a little more business that week.
Each meal from Olexa’s contained:

An entree for 4 either Olexa’s homemade quiche OR Olexa’s specialty sandwiches

A strawberry mandarin side salad with caramelized walnuts and house made balsamic vinaigrette dressing

A quart of tomato basil bisque OR white chicken chili

A pound of specialty salad (i.e. dill and caper pasta salad, fresh fruit, corn and black bean salad, loaded baked potato salad…etc.)

& Olexa’s Cloud nine dessert (this was everyone’s favorite!)
