Techs and the City

by

This week, our CEO, Jim Bob McAllister, engaged in an “8 Mile” style Tech Battle at Techs and the City, facing off against other influential thought leaders in Birmingham.

In each round, JB went head-to-head with fellow contestants: Mike Oakman of RVO Health, Mikhail Kozorovitskiy of Hedgehog, and Trent Kocurek of Equip.

Ultimately, JB emerged victorious and was crowned the first King of Tech In The City by Brooke Gillis of Innovation Depot

Techs and the City is a vibrant and inclusive tech event aimed at building connections, sparking innovation, and fortifying the bonds within our tech community.

Special thanks go to Chase Morrow and Deploy Alloy for organizing this event, showcasing authentic and thoughtful leaders in our community who tackle challenges using their considerable talents.

“A special shout-out to Matt Pears and the Atlas RFID Store team for allowing us to spotlight Avancir, their highly adaptable multi-tenant software for RFID tracking and workflows! Your innovative work is commendable, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to promote you!”
